                         While most are dreaming of success, winners wake-up and work hard to achieve it.

Feeling better.....

Well I must say I was starting to wonder if all this was going to pay off.
I have been exercising 6 days a week, most weeks and gradually increasing the intensity of my workouts.  Not just limiting myself to walking around the local park!!!
I have been watching my diet and logging my food, with a few holy craps there are how many calories in that!!!, daily and I had not lost any weight.  Mind you I wasn't jumping on the scales with any regularity either .
But this morning I did and I lost 900 grams.  Not a lot but it was a loss and I am under the 70kg mark for the first time in a long time.

I know wish I had exercised the last two days!!!  I didn't because I just felt a but de-energised this week and felt that I needed a break.  I am a firm believer in listening to your body when it speaks.
I have a great workout in my head for tomorrow, thanks to a fellow 12WBT'er.

I will get my hubby to fix my HRM tonight and I will hit the track running tomorrow and continue this success.

I am soooo looking forward to the real thing started, and also a little daunted at what to expect.

Week 4......

I do apologise, it has been a few days since my last update.
It hasn't been a bad few days, I have been quite good at tracking my food for this week's challenge, and boy has that been interesting.  Which I suppose is kind of the point.  :)
Have been pretty good with my food lately, although yesterday I did have some biscuits last night and one of my work colleagues decided to buy us all a caramel slice after lunch.  How could I say no!!!
My exercise has been pretty good too, although I have come down with a bit of a cold, as it seems a few of us have.  So just trying to do something with the little energy I do have.

My motivation to eat well and exercise is still good, so I am pleased with that.  Looking forward to the real thing starting and getting a bit more structure.

Getting there....

Morning all
Well my weekend wasn't very successful in terms of distance covered, but I did do some exercise.
It doesn't help when you can't set your alarm correctly to get up on a Saturday morning and go for a walk!!! grrrr.
My girlfriend and I did do a mini cross fit session and then a body balance DVD, which was a lot harder than I thought it would be.  But it was enjoyable and gives you another goal!!!
I did my 1k in the pool last night and off for a walk at lunch.
Slowly but surely!!!
Anyway hope you all had a great weekend, would love to hear what you achieved.

Week 3 Challenge

I have received the email for this week's challenge from Michelle.  Wow!!  This will be a hard one for me for a number of reasons.  I work full time, don't particularly like riding bikes and I don't have access to a rowing machine.
However I have already started swimming twice a week and will get out and get some walks/runs in this week.  I think the 30km is achievable if you tackle it in stages.
I shall keep you posted on my progress.
